Experience one of the Peak District's classic and most celebrated walks on this stunning eight-mile circuit. Starting from the historic village of Castleton, the route makes a direct ascent to the iconic summit of Mam Tor—the legendary "Shivering Mountain"—where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views over the Hope and Edale valleys.

This challenging but spectacular walk departs from Snake Pass and immediately immerses you in the vast, otherworldly landscape of peat hags and gritstone tors. Following the Pennine Way, you'll first navigate to the remote summit of Bleaklow Head.

Escape into the heart of the Peak District on this beautifully varied circular walk, which combines historical intrigue with some of the region's most rewarding panoramas. Starting from the evocative ruins of Errwood Hall, the route gently leads you from serene reservoirs and wooded slopes up onto the high, open moorland of the Cat and Fiddle plateau.

This scenic ridge walk begins at the Fairholmes car park and information point. The route ascends steeply to Back Tor before following the distinctive ridgeline across Derwent Edge to Whinstone Lee Tor, passing many striking rock formations along the way. The return leg follows Derwent Lane along the shore of Ladybower Reservoir, leading back to the start at Fairholmes.
